Children in School

 Additional Services which

  offer further support

At Safe 4 Schools we believe in collaboration, not competition. Our key aim is to support schools in accessing the best service provision available.

We work in partnership with The Training Effect (TTE) a leading UK provider of intervention programmes to schools.

Additional support available to our schools includes:

  • Risk-Avert – an award-winning Y8 specific multi-component intervention that provides a screening and a universal and targeted intervention to support children and young people pre-disposed to risk-taking behaviours. This is independently evaluated by the University of Bath

  • Risk-Avert Primary – A 6-session targeted programme aimed at supporting children and young people in the acquisition of protective behaviours to aid their effective transition into secondary school

  • Health and Well-Being Surveys - TTE provide a diverse range of survey products which can help schools learn more about the experiences, views and needs of their pupils. Click the link to visit the website of one of TTE's survey projects for schools in Derbyshire.

  • Head-First – A whole school (KS1-KS4) intervention that provides an emotional health and well-being audit, universal and targeted intervention and supplemented training to support the development of resilience and emotional health in children and young people. This is independently evaluated by the University of Bath

  • Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training – we offer the full 2-day training, MHFA 1-day, MHFA for Schools and MHFA Lite
